I have poops like this for a year. Probably have IBS but worried if it couldnt be something else (intolerance, worms, pancreatic etc.) thanks

How can a poop be hard enough I have to strain unusually much yet still be sort of watery at least enough to smear paper and enough that I need to wipe like a dozen times? I got out enough to think that it's all out for now. But it was as if it was diarrhea if it was hard, it had to get out fast and painfully but it was hard.

I doubt IBS, lactose intolerance or celiacs.

Unless IBS can be something where I can eat basically any kind of cereal, only sometimes does high carb things like wheat make my stomach hurt.

I hate the pain of an upset stomach. It makes me panic.

Is this something to worry about?

Is this mucus?

I’ve been experiencing stomach issues for over a decade, and due to anxiety and embarrassment, I’ve suffered in silence, rather than getting the problem diagnosed.

Constipation is one of the main problems I have. I frequently go three or four days at a time without having a normal solid bowel movement. This is usually followed by a day where I have five or six massive solid bowel movements which clears my system out, before the cycle begins again.

However, during the three of four days when I don’t have a normal solid bowel movement, I still frequently pass what until now I have assumed to be mucus.

The photo above is an example of one of my ‘mucus’ only bowel movements. However, when I googled images of mucus in bowel movements, I couldn’t find any images which looked similar to what I have been passing.

Has anyone had bowel movements similar to that in my photo, and was it mucus that you passed?

Hi everyone, sorry in advance for the photo. Does this look like a tapeworm, in the lower left part of my stool? I'm quite a hypochondriac and found it really gross to see, and I've also been hungrier lately. I should mention that I had two plates of spaghetti with salad yesterday, so maybe that could be the cause. What do you think?
